twenty years, he was a charter member of the Decision Sciences Institute, and twice national president of Alpha Iota Delta--the national honor society for the decision sciences--and served seventeen years on the Advisory Council to the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing. He was a member of MENSA. He was a landlord, and president of the Kendall-Whittier Residential Landlords Association at a time the Tulsa Police said that was the toughest area in Tulsa. He was a writer, publishing three books and more than three hundred articles. He was an expert in the care and maintenance of 1957 Thunderbird automobiles and a Master Judge for their car shows. Lastly, his picture--in his bib overalls--has appeared in publications in all fifty states and fourteen foreign countries.
