Julia "Judy" Pastelak (100) passed away on September 14, 2018 at her home in Hudson, Colorado. Judy was born on April 6, 1918 in Brighton, Colorado to Maude and Martin Fennelly. Judy was married to Steve A. Pastelak on February 24, 1942 in Kimball, Nebraska.
Judy graduated in 1936 from Brighton High School. After high school she worked as a phone operator, she also helped to operate and maintain the family farm. Judy was a member of the Homemaker Club of Hudson, Colorado. She loved to work in her flower gardens. She enjoyed taking her grandchildren and great-grandchildren camping and fishing. She did family Thanksgiving dinners for over 60 years. She loved to cook and forever will be known as a great cook. Living by herself until she turned 96, she loved to dance to the Big Band Music at Elitch's and Tonville, Grange.
She is survived by her son Steve (Monika) Pastelak of Hudson, Colorado; brother Jack (Molly) Fennelly of Cheyenne, Wyoming; 4 grandchildren Suzanne (Wayne), Dianne (Rob), Dale (Pam); 7 great-grandchildren Cody, Kaitlyn, Garret, Nicole, Sarah, Zarchary, and Justin (Patty).

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 10 am at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home.
