Daniel Brian DuFour, 61, of New London, died Sunday, August 19, 2018 at his home. Born November 23, 1956 in Albany, New York he was the son of Walter Joseph DuFour and Lucy Margot Wallace Wood and stepfather, Bill Wood. On June 26, 1980, he married Patricia Ann Lamb in Provo, Utah.
He was a 1975 graduate of New London High School and had vocational training. He joined the Army and worked on warheads. He was a tool crib at Rockwell International in Fairfield. Daniel enjoyed traveling, motorcycles, working on cars, playing video games with Pat, swimming with his grandchildren; he was everyone's helpful handyman and was the Rock of the family.
Besides his wife, Pat, he is survived by his son, Brian Daniel (Julie) DuFour of Mt. Pleasant; daughter, Andriea Lee Brown of New London; eleven grandchildren; four sisters, Cheryl Horning of Greenwich, New York; Janan Kempf of Ottumwa; Jodi Johnson of Burlington and JoEllen Wood of Winfield; one brother, Tracy Noeth of Atlanta, Georgia; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and twin brother Dennis.

iciating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 until the time of service. According to his wishes his body will be cremated following the service. A memorial has been established to assist the family.
