Visitation for Mary was held Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Oakcrest Funeral Services in Bancroft.
Mary was born February 4, 1955, in Fort Dodge to Joann and Lavern "Shorty" Wilson. She lived most of her life in Bancroft. On November 18, 1977, she married her best friend Tracy Elliott. Throughout the years Mary had several different jobs. Her last job as Director of the Bancroft Ambulance and EMT's. Retiring after 17 years in 2014, due to health issues.
In 1986, her dreams of becoming a mother came true when she and Tracy adopted Bryan. She was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed any time spent with family and friends, fishing, dogs, playing games online, and going to the range to shoot. Those that knew and loved Mary, also knew no matter what time of the day it was, you could call her and she would always answer and be available. She will be deeply missed by friends, family, and all those who knew her.
Mary Ann Elliott, 63, passed away suddenly August 13, 2018, at her home.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Tracy Elliot; son, Bryan and Cristina Elliott of Odebolt; five grandchildren, Jerzee, Calvin, Connor, Kaydence and Kynz...[more]

She was proceeded into death by her parents, father-in-law, George Elliott, and sister-in-law Colleen Holm.
