his home. He loved being surrounded by his family and friends. He was often seen cruising the town on his golf cart with his dog by his side. Dick was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, and the Baxter Men's Club where he enjoyed lining up the tractor pulls. He enjoyed pheasant hunting, organized hoarding, spending time with his dog, labeling everything, and talking with people. Left to cherish his memory are his children Shane (Marna) Butler of Baxter, IA, Cory (Amanda) Butler of Melbourne, IA, Joe (Lindey) Butler of Kellogg, IA; grandchildren Marvin II, Colton, Emma, Ridge, Kordell, Erik, Mark, Payge, Brier, Case, and Raelynn; sister Nancy Foreman; sister-in-law LeeAnn Butler; many aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends. Dick was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Mark and Jim, and brother-in-law Darrell Foreman. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family so local donations can be made in Dick's name at a later date.
