Orvel Eugene "Gene" Noah, Jr; 58, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, June 22, 2018.
Born in Monrovia, California on May 31, 1960, son of Orvel Eugene and Josephine (Larney) Noah, Sr. Gene was raised and educated in Weleetka, Oklahoma. An American Indian Gene was part of the Muscogee Creek Nation.
He and his family moved to Hollywood, Florida in 2002. He was the former Facility Coordinator for the Seminole School System for 14 years and later General Manager of the Trading post before his retirement. Gene was a die-hard fan of the Green Bay Packers, enjoyed playing poker, riding and working on his Harley Davidson.
Survived by his beloved wife, Wilma J. (Randall) Noah, five devoted children, Heath (Summer) Noah, Nicholas (Shelby Gaines) Noah, Bradley Noah, Alyssa (James) Payne and Rayce Noah. Affectionately known as Papa to his grandchildren, Nicole Noah, Ashlynne Noah, Rylan Noah, Alina Payne and Norrin Noah. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Logan Noah. Also survived by his brother, Joseph (Sylivia) Crawford, sister, Geri Crawford and many nieces, nephews and friends.
