r. Sometimes vanilla but most of the time dark and inappropriate (apparently where Amy and Anthony get theirs). He and Kim also loved running over to Beau Rivage Casino for fun and supper. He had a sweet tooth like no one else. He had stashes of candy in almost every room. He used to tell me that he ran five miles a day for exercise just so he could eat his snack cakes, ice cream and candy. He always had Oreos and would eat them in the middle of the night. He loved road trips. Dumb and Dumber was his favorite movie and would watch it over and over again. He was a huge IU basketball fan and LOVED Bobby Knight. He took up karate but never progressed past the White Belt level. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kimberly Ellison (Robinson); daughter, Amy Phelps - husband Jeff; son, Anthony Ellison - wife Zizi; two grandchildren, Crosley and Elliott Jones; sister, Mary Ann Geisler; nephew, Dan Geisler - wife Liz; great-nephew, Robert. Of course we cannot forget his puppies; Mariebelle, the oldest Shih-tzu and nervous one, Lillybelle, the middle rescue Shih-Tzu, who is snow white with two different colored eyes, and a little diva always wanting the attention, and Annabelle, also a rescue Shih-Tzu, who is adorable, even though she has only one eye, she has a little smile all the time. Kent was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alfred and Mary Ellison; father, Richard E. Ellison; mother, Janet L. Ellison; brother, David Ellison; and brother- in- law, Richard Geisler. Visitation will be held at Elm Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum North Chapel, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2018.
