iew City Council for 16 years, served with Winona Area Chamber of Commerce in a handful of roles including Chairman of the Board, as well as worked closely with the Goodview Business Association and WAPS Community Task Force. In addition to being so active in the community, Dennis enjoyed regular golf outings, meticulously caring of his Mustang and yard, and having backyard bonfires. His entire life he enjoyed camping, canoeing, and various other extra curricula with his Farm Family. Dennis is survived by his wife of 33 years, Pauline; children, Leah Meyer and Brent Holmes; father, Lester; siblings, Debra (William) Schultz and Terry (Eileen) Meyer; sister-in-law Carlene Gloyne; nieces and nephews, Emma (Austin) Nolden, James Schultz, Laura and Sam Meyer, Kevin (Betsy) Gloyne, and Kolby Gloyne; his Farm Family; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna; brother-in-law, Sidney Gloyne; mother and father-in-law, Paul and Phyllis Gloyne; and his daughter's late boyfriend Jerry Holter. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at Hoff Celebration of Life Center led by Funeral Celebrant Jenny Hoff. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
