Corporation, and he truly loved his job. He was a member of the Table of Knowledge, National Freight Transportation Association, 33 Club, Kiwanis, Muscatine Traffic Club, Muscatine Quarterback Club, Iowa Girls High School Athletic Association, and served on the Muscatine City Council for 12 years. He supported Muscatine Charities, Shop With A Cop, and Big Brothers-Big Sisters. Mary and his daughters were his life. He was a beloved father, cherished friend, and respected colleague. He enjoyed many hours on the golf course and around the poker table. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Mary Shihadeh of Muscatine; two daughters, Dr. Kati Shihadeh of Denver, Colorado, and Nicole Shihadeh of Chicago, Illinois; and siblings, Maha Lada'a, Nicola Awwad, and Mai Akkawi, all of Amman, Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents. "He led a rewarding and fulfilling life and had more life to live."
