avors. He prized high quality, in which he was willing to put forth the time and effort to achieve them. No one could really tell if Steven loved dogs more, or if dogs loved Steven more. He very much enjoyed being with, and playing with, dogs. And the dogs were ecstatic to play with him using whatever could pass as a toy. It was fun to watch. Steven was enthusiastically nostalgic. He was cheerfully traditional in matters related to holiday celebrations, family travel and home improvements. He would strive to steer any change in a direction which was loyal to the established traditions. He would contribute his own time and effort to bring those happy traditions to life for every occasion. Steven had a number of long time, even lifelong, friends. These friends should know that Steven loves you and cherishes the fact that you would be his friend. This was clear to those who spent time with him. Steven was a kind, proud and private man who embraced life with a casual pace. He died peacefully at his beloved childhood home with his family by his side. Gone too soon, he will be dearly missed. He is survived by his mother Jannet (Simpson) Duffin; father Mark Duffin; brother Benjamin Duffin; grandmother Kathleen Duffin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
