istered Paint horses and Boer goats. Leonard and Jane were lifetime members of the Baldwin Saddle Club. He was also a member of the Wyoming United Methodist Church and the Cedar Valley Coonhunters. They were both very involved in community projects and they made a difference! Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Jane Wynkoop of Clarence, IA; three daughters, Marianne (Vern) Oepping of Estes Park, CO, Brenda Degner of Muscatine, IA, and Susan Hellmer of Plymouth, WI; two sons, Todd Wynkoop (Sue) of Clarence, IA, and Timm Wynkoop (Lori) of Oxford Junction, IA; Grandchildren: Mark (Jean) Tasker and their children Hunter and Evan; Michelle Tasker; Angela (Jay) Degner-Tuffing; Matt (Tiffany) Degner and their children Emily Degner, and sons Tyler and Trevor Miller; Travis (Jessica) Hellmer; Stacey (Riley) Williams; Lacey Wynkoop; Lindsey Wynkoop; Tara (Steve) Weir and their children Chloe, Cooper, Keegan and Kaitlynn; Dana (Jeramie) Ellefson and their children Jordyn and Payton; and Erin (Nick) Brus and their children Mason and Noah; Also surviving is Leonard's aunt "Auntie" Evelyn Griebel. Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and paternal grandparents. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the Wyoming Betterment Committee, Wyoming Museum, the Midland Fire Department or Ambulance Service, or the Wyoming Library.
