Patricia Ann Beougher Leanhart, 87, of Polk City and formerly of Des Moines, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Polk City Nursing & Rehabilitation. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, in Springfield, Missouri.
Patricia was born in Des Moines, Iowa on May 9, 1930 to Curtis and Audrey (Cork) McNay. She attended school in Des Moines. In June of 1948 Patricia married Marvin Beougher and the couple farmed north of Ankeny. To this union 3 children were born and they raised their kids on the farm. The couple was later divorced. She then met and married Jesse Leanhart and they moved to Redfield, Iowa, then California and Missouri. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Patricia loved her dogs, gardening, and cooking.
Patricia is survived by her children Ken (Deanna) Beougher of Perry, IA, George (Cindy) Beougher of Slater, IA, and Beverly Beougher of Seattle, WA; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and brother Jon McNay.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Marvin, husband Jesse, brothers Curtis Eugene, and Mike, and sister Beverly.
