June Anna (Amundsen) MacMahon Kaltenbach passed away peacefully on January 17, 2018 at the Rehabilitation Center of The Palm Beaches following a lengthy illness. She was 93 years of age.
Born in Mamaroneck, New York on June 20, 1924, one of eight children born to Karl and Mathilda (Tangen) Amundsen. At a young age, the family moved to Shenorock, New York where she was raised and educated. Before her retirement, June worked for Southern Bell, now known as Bell South for many years. Her true passion was music, playing the organ, piano and loved to sing. June moved to Margate, Florida in 1973 where she lived for many years up until her health started to fail and moved with her daughter June in Loxahatchee.
Survived by her daughter June (Lou) Pugliese, son George (Fran) MacMahon, sister, Barbara (Henry) Kohnken, brother Karl Amundsen, four grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel MacMahon in 1983 and later her second husband, Robert Kaltenbach in 1996
