s a member of American Legion Post #150. In his free time, he enjoyed photography, listening to and playing music. Richard could play the accordion, electric organ and drums. He was also an electric train hobbyist, car enthusiast, Brooklyn Dodgers and Army Navy Game fan. Richard, beloved husband of 39 years, is survived by his wife, Karen and their son John F. Curtis of Severna Park, Maryland, as well as several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, George Denzler, Eileen Boyle and Dorothy Denzler. Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY, the family wishes to receive friends and fellow family members to honor Richard's memory on Tuesday, January 9th from 4 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 10th at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Montrepose Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
