Don Robin Womble, age 56 of Lynchburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He was born on August 27, 1961 in Bedford County. Don was employed at Tyson as a USDA Inspector and had previously worked for Jack Daniels and Appalachian Leather Cleaners. He enjoyed fishing, camping, riding horses, and watching western movies. Don was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his father, Grady Womble; and brothers, Larry Womble, Tommy Womble, and Steve Womble. Don is survived by sons, Heath Allen Womble of Pikeville, and Brandon Womble of Tullahoma; granddaughter, Heather Lee Womble of Shelbyville; mother, Ava Lee Womble of Lynchburg; brothers, Richard Womble, David (Judy) Womble, and John (Margie) Womble, all of Lynchburg; sister, Doreen (John) Gluch of Bedford County; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Womble and Scottie Womble, both of Lynchburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
