to New York, where in 1980 she wed husband Egbert Heron (deceased). Her children would later go on to join her in New York. In 1985 Beryl and her growing family headed south for warmer climates and settled in Miramar, Florida. Beryl was an exemplary woman of faith and upon her arrival in Florida became a dedicated member of Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church. Many have been led to Christ through her steadfast commitment to the Lord and sacrificial service to others. Beryl loved life. She delighted in sewing and cooking yet her greatest joy was in spending time with her abundant family. Beryl is survived by her four children and 30 grandchildren: Cornelia, Jermaine, Jabbar, Justin, Jessica-Lee, Latonya, Troy, Anika, Gregory, Shawn, Danea, Deandrea, Anastassia, Patrick, Tarik, Rory, Cory, Shamaury, Jade, Schenel, Tiffany, Keegan, Jaden, Christian, Abigail, Debontina, Richard, Lavauche, Maurice and Sapphire. A gracious, generous woman Beryl spent her 91 years as a Christlike light in the world. Anyone that knew her could testify of her strong will, kindness, and wisdom. She went home to be with the Lord on November 18th, 2017 and leaves behind a growing legacy of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, dear friends and loved ones. Beryl's memory will survive in the hearts of all whom she touched. She is dearly loved and sorely missed.
