Harvey Tipton "Tip" Hall, age 103 of Winchester, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 2, 1914 in Belvidere to the late Pink Hall and Theo May Maze. Mr. Hall was veteran of WWII who served in Fort Knox and the Philippines as a gunner in the tank division and was employed by Winchester Utilities for 32 years. A member of Winchester First Baptist Church, he enjoyed gardening, farming, growing flowers and working for others. In his younger years, he played baseball and basketball on a flat rock. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Limbaugh Hall; brothers, George, Bart, Bill and Guy Hall; and half-brothers, Elbert and Charlie Mayes. Survivors include his children, Leonard (Lorene) Limbaugh of Decherd, Helen (Floyd) Amos of Pulaski, Earline Horton of Pulaski, and Harvey Ray (Janice) Hall of Keller, TX; sister, Lou Miller of Blue Island, IL; brother, Glen (Gertrude) Hall of Winchester; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
