Maybeth Wilson, 91, died November 17 at the Western Home Communities in Cedar Falls. She was born August 27, 1926 in Elma, daughter of Marc and Helen McGrane Deegan. She married Paul I. Wilson on April 21, 1956 in Waterloo. He died on October 28, 1974. Maybeth was an executive assistant at John Deere Tractor Mfg. Co. for many years. Preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and three brothers, Neil, Dean and Lee Deegan. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 20 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street, where there will be a 4 p.m. Legion of Mary rosary. Visitation also one hour preceding services at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Society or Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Survivors include many nieces and nephews including Cathy Campbell, Tim Deegan and David Fell. Maybeth was a dedicated volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul Society for many years, was strongly devoted to her Catholic faith and loved spending time with her family and friends.
