Keith H. Butcher, 83, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Unity Point Hospital, Muscatine. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, November 16, at Geo M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Interment will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery, with military honors by VFW Post 1565 and American Legion Post #27. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 15, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Geo M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Keith was born November 24, 1933 in Muscatine, the son of Harold and Jennie (Hyink) Butcher. He married Mary Ann Buster on November 4, 1956 at Ziegler Memorial Lutheran Church. He served in the U.S. Navy. Keith was employed as a supervisor at Oscar Mayer for 30 years, retiring in 1989. Keith will be missed by his wife, Mary; his children, Kirk (Teresa) Butcher and Kim (Kirk) Sears; his grandchildren, Brandon (Elsa Martinez) Butcher, Gailyn (Matthew) Hill, Ryan Minder, and Nash and Nic Butcher; his great grandchildren, Armani, Chanel, and Milani Butcher, and Hudson and Cameron Hill.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Jack Butcher, and his sister, Lorraine Hoyt.
